Ljubljana Central Market


The Ljubljana Central Market in the capital of Slovenia was designed by Jože Plečnik in 1931–39. It is located in the center of Ljubljana and extends from the Triple Bridge to the Dragon Bridge. The market is open daily except Sundays. Market surfaces are on Pogačar and Vodnik market and Dolničar street, sales are also done in Plečnik arcades and covered market. The market offers agricultural products and all kinds of fruits and vegetables, mushrooms and berries, meat and meat products, dairy products, flowers and plants, medicinal herbs. In addition market offers woodenware and pottery, souvenirs, textiles and footwear, and various other products.
