The Slovenian Railway Museum is tasked with acquiring, preserving and supplying knowledge about Slovenian railway history on the basis of the national collection. It is located in front of the ex Ljubljana Šiška Railway station. The Railway Museum started to emerge in the 1960s and has gradually developed into a small but well laid-out and comprehensive museum in a former boiler room at Parmova 35.
